Accessibility
Last updated October 23, 2026We want every guide to be readable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
1. What we do
- Text and interface colours meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 in both light and dark themes.
- Pages use one main heading and a logical heading order; guides have a chapter list and a "skip to content" link.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Body text is 19px and stays readable at 200% zoom.
- Margin notes are also listed at the end of each guide, so they're available on small screens and to assistive technology.
- Animations are minimal and respect your "reduce motion" setting.
2. Known limitations
- Some comparison tables are wide and scroll horizontally on small screens.
- Guide covers are decorative charts; their meaning is always repeated in the text.
3. Report a barrier
If something on the site is hard to use, please tell us which page and what happened. We aim to reply within five working days.
