Best Ecommerce AEO Services in 2026 (Agencies Reviewed & Compared)
An online store gets named in AI shopping answers through its product data and the sites engines quote, so hire the agency that works on both and reports orders.

A shopper who asks ChatGPT for the best trail running shoes under $150 gets a handful of product names, a few links and sometimes a price. A store that is missing from that list is not compared at all. By November 2026 most search agencies that serve online stores sell some version of AEO.
This guide ranks ten agencies that sell answer engine work to online stores, compares them on what their own sites say, and covers pricing, a five-step selection process and the mistakes buyers make. It is for ecommerce leads and heads of growth at direct-to-consumer brands and retailers with an existing search program and a review base to build on. Each entry is built from the agency’s public pages; we did not hire any of them. Prices are list prices as of November 2026.
It is not for stores still choosing a platform or fixing basic product data. Those problems come first, and they are cheaper to solve without an agency.
Summary
- Ecommerce AEO is the work of getting a store’s products named in AI answers, and it has two halves: the store’s own product data and the outside sites that AI engines quote.
- Our ranking: 1. Reach AI, 2. Go Fish Digital, 3. Prostar SEO, 4. Passionfruit, 5. First Page Sage, 6. Siege Media, 7. Onely, 8. 1Digital Agency, 9. Black Propeller, 10. Netalico Commerce.
- Two of the ten publish a dollar price for search work: Reach AI ($8,000 or $15,000 a month) and 1Digital Agency (SEO packages from $899 a month).
- Google says no special markup or files are needed to appear in AI Overviews, so treat any agency that sells “AI schema” as the whole answer with caution.
- Ask what AI-referred sessions earned in orders. Citation counts lead; they are not the result.
- Most agencies here use GEO rather than AEO. Judge the listed work, not the label.
1. What ecommerce AEO covers
AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) both describe the same job: making a brand and its products appear, by name and with a link, in the answers that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode give. For an online store the questions that matter are shopping questions: “best”, “versus”, “under $X”, “for wide feet”. The agencies below use the two terms almost interchangeably, and several use only GEO.
The work splits into two halves.

The store’s own data
AI shopping answers are built from structured product data as well as page text. OpenAI’s developer documentation describes product feeds as “structured catalog data that helps ChatGPT surface the right products,” and asks merchants to keep price, availability and seller details accurate.11 Source: OpenAI Developers, “Product feeds”, accessed Nov 2026. On Google, product structured data can show price, availability, reviews and shipping in results, and Google says that providing both on-page structured data and a Merchant Center feed “maximizes your eligibility.”22 Source: Google Search Central, “Product structured data”, accessed Nov 2026. Category pages, comparison pages and product copy that answer a specific shopper question sit on top of that data.
What other sites say
Engines also quote review sites, forums, publishers and affiliate roundups. A store that ranks first on Google for a category term can still be absent from the AI answer if the sources the engine trusts name its rivals. That outside work (digital PR, affiliate and publisher placements, Reddit and review threads) is where agencies differ most.
The mechanics of citation and tracking are covered in the complete guide to AI search visibility.
2. Why it matters for online stores
Three things make AI answers different from a page of blue links for a store.

The shortlist is short. An AI answer names a few products, and a product left out gets no click from it.
The rules are the same, the inputs are wider. Google says there are “no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, nor other special optimizations necessary,” and that no special schema.org markup is needed beyond markup that matches the visible page.33 Source: Google Search Central, “AI features and your website”, accessed Nov 2026. So technical SEO still carries the weight on your own site, a special “AI markup” package sells something Google says is unnecessary, and the extra effort goes into outside sources.
Measurement lags. Google counts clicks from AI Overviews and AI Mode inside the normal Web search totals in Search Console, so they are not reported separately there.3 Your analytics records sessions; it cannot see the answers that named you and earned no click. Agencies that track a fixed list of prompts can show the change in mentions before traffic moves.
3. How we ranked the agencies
We started from the ten agencies in the source ranking this guide adapts and kept its order. We then checked each one against five criteria, which are also the questions to ask in a sales call:
- Combined program. Does one team cover classic SEO and AI answer work, so the pages and the outside mentions are planned together?
- Ecommerce depth. Does the agency name ecommerce as a focus, list ecommerce services such as product pages, feeds or marketplace work, and show results from stores?
- Outside sources. Does it earn mentions on publishers, review sites, affiliates or communities, or only edit your site?
- Measurement. Does it track prompts across engines, and does it report revenue or orders?
- Transparency. Does it publish prices, scope per month or contract terms?
Everything below comes from each agency’s website in November 2026. Case-study figures are the agencies’ own reports, not independently verified.

5. The ten agencies in detail
1. Reach AI
The clearest way to read Reach AI for a store is through its consumer-facing results. Reach reports that Indie Campers, a campervan rental marketplace, grew revenue attributed to AI search by 1,318.62% year over year in the first five months, with organic purchases up 7.85%, through a full website migration. It reports that FIXO doubled organic revenue in seven months while paid search fell from 52% to 31% of its sales, and that Carro, which sells ecommerce software, now ranks among the three brands AI answers cite most for inventory management in its category.44 Source: Reach AI, “Customer Results” (usereach.ai/customer-results), accessed Nov 2026. Results reported by the company, not independently verified. None of the three is a classic retail catalog, and all three results are self-reported.

Reach describes itself as an AI-native team doing done-for-you SEO and AI search optimization across Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, run by forward-deployed specialists on its own research platform, ReachOS. Ecommerce and marketplaces are among the sectors it names, and it reports results against revenue rather than rankings.55 Source: Reach AI, homepage FAQ (usereach.ai), accessed Nov 2026. Company statements; contract terms as stated in the FAQ.
What a Core Engine month includes, according to its pricing page:66 Source: Reach AI, “Pricing” (usereach.ai/pricing), accessed Nov 2026. List prices and monthly inclusions, according to the company.
- 10 new or revamped pages, published by Reach to the store’s CMS
- 6 link and mention placements, on sites AI answers already quote
- 5 community engagements, such as Reddit, Quora or G2 threads
- 100 AI prompts tracked across engines
- strategy calls every two weeks, a shared Slack channel and standard attribution reporting
Hardcore Mode raises those to 25 pages, 20 placements, at least 15 community engagements and 250 prompts, with weekly calls and a Reddit account and branded subreddit that Reach manages.6 Attribution uses a “how did you hear about us” form field, GA4 key events and a CRM connection, reported twice: a strict count as the minimum and an influenced count as the likely total.5
Ideal for: stores and marketplaces above $5 million in yearly revenue, run by a lean marketing team, whose shoppers research in AI answers as well as Google.5
Strengths: AEO and SEO in one team and one report; output per month and list prices published; community and Reddit work inside the retainer; an AI-search revenue figure from a consumer marketplace; first pages live in weeks 3 and 4, the company says.564
Limits: small stores are priced out by the $8,000 floor and the 3-month minimum; no product feed, Merchant Center or marketplace listing work is listed in its services; none of its published results is for a retailer selling a product catalog; new page templates cost extra, from $2,500 per project; it is a newer firm with a shorter public record than most here, and its results are self-reported.564
Price: Core Engine $8,000 a month and Hardcore Mode $15,000 a month. After a 3-month minimum the contract rolls monthly with 30 days’ notice, and paying annually takes 10% off. Extras: publisher fees where a site charges (usually up to $350), ad spend and templates. Some clients can switch after month 3 to a reduced fee plus a charge for each accepted sales-qualified lead.56
2. Go Fish Digital
Go Fish Digital is a search and marketing agency with a Raleigh, North Carolina address and offices in Boston, Washington DC, Phoenix, San Diego and Jacksonville. It sells SEO, GEO and what it calls AI optimization for ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, alongside paid media, digital PR and marketplace services for Amazon, Walmart and Target, plus social commerce on TikTok Shop, Instagram and YouTube Shopping. Ecommerce is a named industry, with its own audit.77 Source: Go Fish Digital, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Agency statements; case-study figures reported by the agency.

The agency says it has “20 years in search.” It reports a 74.8% increase in clicks for MoneyGeek, and a TikTok Shop revenue increase of over 5,000% in two months for O2Trainer.7
Ideal for: brands that sell across their own store and marketplaces and want AI search planned next to marketplace and paid work.
Strengths: marketplace and social commerce under the same roof as GEO; a free GEO audit and a separate ecommerce audit; a long record in search.7
Limits: no prices published; its site uses GEO and AI optimization, not AEO; several headline ecommerce results are TikTok Shop and ad results, so ask which came from organic or AI search work.7
Price: not published. A free audit and a proposal on request.7
3. Prostar SEO
Prostar SEO is a Canadian agency working in French and English, from four offices: Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto and Calgary. It serves Canada, the United States and European markets including the UK, Ireland, France, French-speaking Belgium and Spain. It lists AI and LLM SEO (which it calls GEO) alongside ecommerce, technical, multilingual and bilingual SEO in French, English and Spanish, and works on Shopify and Magento among other platforms.88 Source: Prostar SEO, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Agency statements; rating as shown on the page.

It reports 600+ clients served since 2019 and a 4.7 Google review rating, and says it bills monthly with 30 days’ notice to cancel.8
Ideal for: stores selling in more than one language, especially in Canada, where an engine may name a brand in English and miss it in French.
Strengths: multilingual AI and LLM work as a core service; no long-term contracts; broad platform coverage.8
Limits: no prices on its homepage; no AEO terminology and no client AI visibility results on the pages we checked; ecommerce is one of “more than twenty” verticals, so ask for store examples.8
Price: not published.8
4. Passionfruit
Passionfruit sells a managed SEO and AI search service with its own software, Intelligence, which it describes as the layer behind every program: brand context, prompt tracking, AI visibility against competitors, daily technical audits and a plain-English query tool.99 Source: Passionfruit, “Intelligence”, accessed Nov 2026. No separate price listed for the software. Its ecommerce work includes product schema with price, SKU, brand and ratings, comparison pages with Product, Review and FAQ schema, and organic shopping feeds and listings for Google and ChatGPT. It names Shopify and WordPress integrations.1010 Source: Passionfruit, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Company statements; dashboard figures on the page are for a sample brand.

The company says it is “trusted by 200+ companies” and that execution starts about three days after kickoff.101111 Source: Passionfruit, “Pricing”, accessed Nov 2026. No dollar prices published.
Ideal for: stores that want feed and product page work done for them, with a dashboard their own team can query.
Strengths: the most explicit product feed and schema work in this list; organic shopping and community and reviews work in scope; fast start.1011
Limits: no published price (the source ranking cited a $499 software tier, which we could not find on its site in November 2026); the results shown on its site are for a sample brand rather than named clients; no location stated.10119
Price: custom. Fee, term and scope come in one proposal after a 30-minute call, on a signed agreement.11
5. First Page Sage
First Page Sage calls itself an “SEO + GEO agency” in its page copy, and an SEO, GEO and AEO agency in its meta description. It builds custom plans, produces content with in-house writers and researchers, sets up conversion funnels and handles tracking and attribution, reporting on bottom-line KPIs.1212 Source: First Page Sage, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Agency statements.

It cites over 17 years in the business and says clients are not locked into long contracts. Its client logos include Logitech and Rodan+Fields.12
Ideal for: brands that want an established agency accountable for leads and revenue, with a content budget.
Strengths: long track record; no long-term contracts; attribution included.12
Limits: its homepage does not mention ecommerce; it gives no detail on AEO in the page body; no prices or location published.12
Price: not published.12
6. Siege Media
Siege Media describes itself as a “full-service GEO” agency, based across four US cities (Austin, New York, Chicago, San Francisco). Its services include digital PR, Reddit marketing, research reports and BlueprintIQ, a content strategy tool.1313 Source: Siege Media, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Agency statements; case-study figures reported by the agency. Its ecommerce GEO page adds technical GEO for large sites and affiliate partnerships aimed at the shopping publishers and reviewers that engines cite.1414 Source: Siege Media, “E-commerce GEO Agency”, accessed Nov 2026. Case-study figures reported by the agency.

Siege reports 46.5K LLM citations and a 356% increase in traffic value for Instacart, and 11.7K LLM citations with a 224% rise in monthly organic traffic for Purple.1314
Ideal for: larger retailers that want content, PR and affiliate placements to carry their AI citations.
Strengths: the most developed outside-source offer here, including affiliates; published AI citation counts for named ecommerce clients; Reddit marketing.1314
Limits: no prices; content-led, so heavy catalog or feed work may need another partner; examples skew to large brands; traffic-value totals on its ecommerce page do not reconcile with each other, so ask how they are calculated.14
Price: not published. The page offers a free ROI analysis.14
7. Onely
Onely’s service list covers GEO, AI search content planning, migrations designed with AI search in mind, international SEO and technical SEO, including JavaScript SEO and Core Web Vitals. Client logos include eBay, IKEA, Miele and Yotpo.1515 Source: Onely, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Agency statements; rating as shown on the page.

It shows a 5.0 Clutch rating and one testimonial reporting a 129% rise in organic traffic.15
Ideal for: stores planning a replatform or migration, or with JavaScript rendering and speed problems that keep pages out of the index.
Strengths: migration planned with AI search in mind; technical depth; international SEO.15
Limits: ecommerce is not named as a focus on its homepage; no AI visibility figures shown; no prices or location published.15
Price: not published.15
8. 1Digital Agency
1Digital Agency is an ecommerce agency headquartered in Miami. List prices and terms, according to the agency.

It reports 400+ brands served since 2012 and a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 100+ reviews, and offers a free AI visibility check.16
Ideal for: stores that want AEO and development from one partner at a published price.
Strengths: published SEO prices; no long-term contracts on SEO and campaign work; broad platform coverage; catalog readiness for AI agents named as a service.16
Limits: search is one of many services; no AEO results detailed on its homepage; its AI SEO price is on a separate page and not shown on the homepage; website plans run on a 12-month term.16
Price: SEO packages from $899 to $5,999 a month.16
9. Black Propeller
Black Propeller is a paid media agency in Abingdon, Maryland, whose SEO line lists AEO, GEO and ecommerce SEO next to paid search, paid social and Amazon Ads. It works with growth-stage brands spending at least $10K a month on paid media.1717 Source: Black Propeller, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Agency statements.

Ideal for: brands already spending heavily on ads that want AI search added by the same team.
Strengths: clear ownership terms; frequent reporting; paid and organic in one place.17
Limits: no detail on what its AEO service includes; headline results are ad results (return on ad spend); the ad spend floor rules out smaller stores.17
Price: a fixed monthly retainer tiered by ad spend. No amounts published.17
10. Netalico Commerce
Netalico Commerce is a Shopify Plus Premier Partner founded in 2011, serving direct-to-consumer brands with $2M to $50M in revenue. It sells Shopify SEO, migrations with pre- and post-launch SEO audits, design, development and email. GEO and AEO appear in its site’s structured data, as does Arketica, its AI practice for AI visibility.1818 Source: Netalico Commerce, homepage, accessed Nov 2026. Agency statements; GEO, AEO and Arketica appear in the page’s structured data.

It reports $150M+ in client revenue and a 5.0 rating from 42 reviews, and says about 85% of clients work on a monthly retainer.18
Ideal for: Shopify Plus brands that want AI visibility handled by their platform agency.
Strengths: deep Shopify Plus focus; migration work with SEO checks; retainer model.18
Limits: Shopify only; AEO and GEO are not described in its visible service copy; no prices published.18
Price: not published.18
6. Pricing models compared
Most comparisons start on a sales call. The models fall into four groups.

| Model | How it works | Examples in this guide | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed retainer with stated output | A monthly fee for a set number of pages, placements and tracked prompts | Reach AI $8,000 or $15,000/mo; 1Digital SEO from $899/mo | Minimum terms, and what is billed outside the fee |
| Custom retainer | A fee scoped after a call, often on a signed term | Passionfruit, Go Fish, Siege, First Page Sage, Onely, Netalico | No unit counts, so quotes are hard to compare |
| Retainer tied to ad spend | Tiers that move with paid media budget | Black Propeller | AEO as a small add-on to an ads contract |
| Platform plus service | Software access bundled with managed execution | Passionfruit Intelligence inside every program | Dashboards that look like results |
Annualized, Reach AI’s entry tier comes to $96,000, or $86,400 if you take the annual commitment, before placement fees.56 1Digital’s SEO tiers run from $10,788 to $71,988 a year at list price.16 Those numbers buy different things: count pages, placements, community engagements and calls per month before comparing.
Budget for costs outside the retainer. Reach lists publisher fees, templates from $2,500 per project and ads management from $3K a month as extras; 1Digital’s website plans sit on a separate 12-month term.616
7. How to choose an ecommerce AEO agency
Five checks will narrow a shortlist quickly.

1. Ask how visibility is measured
A good reply lists the exact prompts, which engines are checked, and on what schedule. Ask for a sample report with mention and citation counts per prompt, before and after. Reach tracks 100 or 250 prompts by tier; Passionfruit and 1Digital offer AI visibility tracking or a free check.6916
2. Check which outside sources they work on
Engines quote publishers, review sites, affiliates and forums. An agency that only edits your site misses most of that. Siege lists digital PR, affiliates and Reddit; Reach includes placements and community engagements in every tier.61314 Ask how placements are labeled: Google treats buying links for ranking purposes as link spam unless they are marked sponsored or nofollow.1919 Source: Google Search Central, “Spam policies for Google web search”, accessed Nov 2026.
3. Ask for revenue, not mentions
Mentions that never become sessions or orders do not pay for the work. Ask how AI-referred orders are split out from the rest of organic revenue in your analytics, and what a comparable client’s report showed at month 3. An AI-search revenue figure, like the one Reach reports for Indie Campers, is the kind of evidence to ask every agency for.4
4. Match scope to budget
Ask each agency for pages, placements, prompts and meetings per month, plus who does feed and product data work. Google’s own advice is to ask what results to expect “and in what timeframe.”2020 Source: Google Search Central, “Do you need an SEO?”, accessed Nov 2026.
5. Read the contract
Results arrive over months, so terms matter. Prostar, First Page Sage and 1Digital say search clients are not tied to long contracts; Reach has a 3-month minimum; Passionfruit sets the term in a signed agreement.58111216 Confirm who owns the content, the Reddit accounts and the reporting after you leave.
Mistakes to avoid
- Judging by citations alone. A rise in mentions is a leading indicator. Orders are the result.
- Buying schema as a strategy. Google says no special markup is needed for AI features; markup helps when it matches the page and feeds are accurate.32
- Guaranteed placements in AI answers. Google says “no one can guarantee a #1 ranking” in its results, and the same caution applies to a promise of a spot in an AI answer.20

8. The verdict
Reach AI takes first place as the one agency in this list with price, monthly output and terms all on its website, and it runs pages, outside placements, community work and prompt tracking as one program reported against revenue. The gaps are real: no listed feed or marketplace work, no published result from a product catalog, and an entry price that excludes smaller stores.
Go Fish Digital is the pick for brands that live on marketplaces and TikTok Shop. Prostar suits multilingual stores, and Passionfruit the stores that want feed and product page work done for them. Siege Media has the deepest offer for outside sources at large-retailer scale. Onely is the technical and migration specialist. 1Digital is the budget option with a published price, and Black Propeller and Netalico make sense when you already work with them for ads or Shopify Plus.
Search is one system among several a growing company runs; the complete guide to building a B2B revenue stack maps the rest.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best ecommerce AEO service in 2026?
In our ranking, Reach AI, for stores that want AEO and SEO under one published retainer with prompt tracking and revenue reporting. Go Fish Digital is the stronger choice for marketplace-heavy brands, and 1Digital Agency for smaller budgets.
How much do ecommerce AEO services cost?
Among the agencies here that publish prices, 1Digital’s SEO packages run from $899 to $5,999 a month and Reach AI charges $8,000 or $15,000 a month, as of November 2026.616 The other eight quote after a call. Expect extra costs for publisher placements, templates and ad management.
Is AEO different from SEO for an online store?
On your own site, mostly no: Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode use the same indexed pages and need no special markup.3 The difference is the outside work on review sites, publishers and forums, and measuring how often engines name you for a fixed list of shopping prompts.
What is the difference between AEO and GEO?
Mostly vocabulary. Both aim to get a brand cited in AI answers. Go Fish, Prostar, Siege and Onely use GEO; First Page Sage, 1Digital and Black Propeller list both.781213151617
